Did you know Jess does school visits for primary ages about staying safe with dogs?
Teaching children to be safe around dogs is one of the most important things you’ll ever teach them, especially if they have their own dogs in the house.
Showing them how to respect and understand a dog will ensure they know how to stay safe and can teach them a sense of responsibility along with caring for their dog.
Jess & Max are absolutely loving their school visits so far, this term they have been concentrating on reception classes but their talks are for all primary ages (and occasionally they do pre school as well).
The children from Brockhill and Batchley have been amazingly behaved and so kind and gentle when meeting Max!
On Tuesday, Dream tagged along for her very first school visit and she was absolutely perfect – she is going to be training to be a therapy dog and was learning as much from the children as they learnt from her!
Jess & Max can’t wait to be back out next week meeting all the wonderful little people of Redditch and teaching them how to stay safe around their own dogs and dogs they meet out and about.
Another part of the sessions is teaching the children signs dogs may not be happy so they can come home and teach their parents!
