On Saturday 1st June my husband, Luke and I took part in The Muddy Dog Challenge. The Muddy Dog Challenge is in aid of Batersea Dogs & Cats home.
The challenge

The challenge consists of a 5km run and 18 dog friendly obstacles. Of course the sun put his hat on and we faced 24degrees of sunshine. Normally we would welcome this sun but this made it a little more challenging for the dogs. I decided that I couldn’t do the challenge without my trusty best friend Max! Kiera kindly lent Luke Murray to run with and we were both set.
Obstacles
Of course the dogs were perfect and took to all the obstacles. Murray was jumping into the water with no hesitate shortly followed by Max at all times.
We completed the challenge in under an hour and it was time to take the dogs to be washed off and have a well deserved rest! Thank you again Kiera for lending us Murray who would probably have ran round the course again if he had the chance!

The charity – Battersea
We aim to never turn away a dog or cat in need of help, caring for them until their owners or loving new homes can be found, no matter how long it takes. We are champions for, and supporters of, vulnerable dogs and cats, determined to create lasting changes for animals in our society.
