Today we had an early start to get all the walks done before it got too hot!

Thankfully when we started this morning it actually wasn’t that warm and I had actually started regretting my choice to wear shorts. Cleo, Willow, Buster, Barks and Ted all had a lovely run around, rough playing and bouncing off each other as they went, they had a little paddle in the pond and even got to meet the (cow) neighbours ?.

Max, Max, Lexi and Skye were joined by Arlo who was new to the craziness that is the Bordesley crew! He had the best time though playing with others and diving in the river! Lexi missed her bestie Minnie today but actually we bumped into her clone so that was at least something to cheer her up ?.

Next Alan, Parker, Lola and Max had a shortened walk through Wirehill woods to keep them cool! Alan was such a good boy today, he had the best walk he has had so far with no reactions towards other dogs at all and even when two shouty dogs ran over to him he ignored them and ran back over to us, well don’t baby, you have come so far!!!

Finally Maisie had what I like to call a “sniffing walk” where she is allowed to decide where we go, when we stop, what she smells, how fast we go. The idea behind a sniffing walk is to make her enjoy every part of the walk and to keep her happy and relaxed with me so she builds up her confidence and starts to feel relaxed when we are out and about together, and in turn make her less reactive and nervous when passing others and it worked a treat today, we passed 3 other dogs in total and no barking or reactions towards them at all!! Clever girl Maisie!!! ?
