Busy Bees and Busy Dogs

Next up Betsie was on top form with her solo singing today and blasted out a couple of tunes for me after I had arrogantly told one of her owners that she “never barks in the car for me” damn my arrogance! We had he nicest walk with all Floppy Ears dancing and prancing about together, Lexi is getting so brave playing with be others, Minnie’s so brave splashing in and out the river… and BOG!!!!!! Needless to say the perfectly white fluffball was pretty much black and stinky by the end of the walk, resulting in a stinky car ride home, thank god for Betsies singing to help us out!

Next out to give me yet another hair-raising experience through Arrow Valley Lake in Redditch – Missy, Kaiser, Ted and Skye and we were joined by Murray. We were happily walking through the enclosed paddocks, all the dogs playing together, running around. Next thing I see Kaiser running down to the water to be greeted by two swans and their babies, now he is a rescue pointer who was previously worked and has a high prey drive for birds hence the ENCLOSED paddocks?. Thankfully he didn’t really careless about them or maybe he decided against 2 hissing flappy birds and ran further upstream. It still took a good 5 minutes to get all the dogs back and everyone left in one piece, thankfully the rest of the walk was much more relaxing?.

Missy and Marla joined the big dogs, Astwood Bank crew today – Cleo, Willow and Buster. Marla was in her absolute element having some big boisterous dogs to play around with and Willow and Cleo are always up for new playmates – even Buster joined in! Missy somehow managed to hold her own with all the big dogs and was happily running after them bouncing around! Thankfully this walk was relatively event free?which gave me time to regain my composer, with some of Marla’s greatest hits on the way home!

Final walk of the day was with the beautiful dogs Maisie and Max. Maisie is doing so well with her training it’s time to start moving up a gear and starting her socialising and who better to start with then Max? Despite the cow stampede (not actually to us but just in our general area) it was such a successful walk. Maisie is doing amazingly, she past lots of dogs with no reactions and grew in confidence with Max throughout the walk to a point where she happily trotted and sat NEXT to him! Such a clever girl?.
