We had some lovely weather this week before the storm rolled in and as always, our walks were filled with fun! Here’s Redditch Dog Walking’s weekly Wonderpups!
Jude’s Wonderpup of the week
My Wonderpup this week is Tilly. Tilly is a gorgeous fluff ball of fun and she has literally hit the ground running. She has fitted in to the RDW groups with ease, she is so happy to see me when I go to pick her up, is straight in the van and travels brilliantly. On her walks she loves exploring and playing with the other dogs and is fearless. She always goes to the other walkers to say hi and never misses anyone out. Well done Tilly you are fabulous!
Andy’s Wonderpup of the week
My wonderpup this week is Rufus. It was his first week with me and still early days for him in general with RDW but I thought he did really, really well. He had a varied mix of dog groups over the three days and slotted in like he’s always been there. And he’s definitely made himself some new friends!

Becky’s Wonderpup of the week
My wonderpup this week is Odie. He is always so well behaved and always friendly with the other dogs at the park. He is a such a funny character and makes me chuckle on every walk. It takes a while to convince him to leave his comfy sofa when I collect him, but he is always full of energy once we are out
Jess’s Wonderpup of the week
My Wonderpup is Eva, she has been on individual walks for a few months now but as she has been doing so well and becoming less reactive we have slowly been introducing her to other dogs and up the fields again! This week was the first week she has been able to run and play with multiple other dogs and she was fabulous! We all watched her racing around with the boys with massive smiles on our faces! We are all very proud of you Eva!
Elli’s wonderpup of the week
I’ve picked Ella this week because she has been so brave on our walks! I took Ella out twice this week and we met up with some of the other walkers and their groups. A lot of the dogs were much bigger than Ella and she was quite nervous to begin with and stayed very close to me. With a bit of encouragement, Ella plucked up the courage to get a little bit involved but soon came back for some cuddles. She always listens so well and I absolutely love walking her!
Chloe’s Wonderpup of the Week
When Reggie came to us, he was anxious around other dogs and his owners wanted to eventually to try to get him out playing with other dogs and improve his recall. His first few walks I found reggie reactive and actively looking for other dogs to have a bark at. We tried a few distraction techniques and some clicker training which he responded to very quickly. His recall also came on leaps and bounds by using the long line and his love for tennis balls! After getting to know reggie and gaining his trust, this week he went out for the first time with another dog and it’s safe to say he loved it! I was so proud of him putting all of his trust into listening when he’s unsure and continuing to let his guard down. I thoroughly enjoy his walks and it’s clear to see he does too.
Ellie’s wonderpup of the week
My Wonderpup of the week is Cooper. Throughout the week, Cooper has really improved with his toilet training and his puppy biting phase seems to have lessened. As soon as he has been out for his lunchtime wee he is ready for his food and does the cutest excited bum wiggle until he gets it! His puppy play has also really come on this week and he’s getting so good at playing fetch, but also still loves a good cuddle.
Tracey’s Wonderpup of the Week
My wonderpups are Poppy and Willow. I have chosen them both as they come as a pair.I haven’t walked the girls for a while, and forgot how lovely they are. They are typical spaniels and love working the hedgerows. They are great to watch. Whilst not working the hedges, they played so nicely with Ruby the puppy who had a wonderful time with them. They also travel so well in the car!
