Another busy week for us all here at Redditch Dog Walking and the weather remained mostly on our side! Hanging out with dogs all day is never a chore, but when the sun is shining, it is that little bit sweeter.

Tracey’s Wonderpup
My Wonderpup this week has got to be Duke, and he truly is a Wonderpup. On 6th May whilst playing, he suddenly became paralysed and was unable to walk on his back legs. The diagnosis was a slipped disc and trauma to the spine. But, with a lot of physio from his wonderful mum and dad and loads of TLC, Duke is back up and running, literally. I was so excited to have Duke back walking with me last Monday.
Having seen videos of him the day of his accident, I wasn’t sure he’d ever join us on another walk but you can’t keep a good dog down. He had a wonderful walk and a little run around off the lead. Duke you are such a loving boy, and I’m not ashamed to say I had a tear in my eye. It’s wonderful to have you back and you are a true Wonderpup!
Elli’s Wonderpup
This week I’ve chosen Missy as my Wonderpup. Missy had a really tough time during lockdown with some health issues. This meant that coming back to walks she was a little nervous. The last few weeks however, Missy has come back out of her shell and is back to being the bounding beauty she is! I have the pleasure of walking Missy a couple of times every week and I am always so happy to see her. She always makes me smile, and I love watching her play, keep it up girly!
Chloe’s Wonderpup
Im picking Nala as my Wonderpup. Nala has always been a quiet girl and, although playful, sometimes can still get nervous around the bigger dogs. This week she has shown just how far she’s come by going out for a walk with, not one, but two larger dogs. It’s lovely to see her confidence continue to grow. You’re doing fabulous Nala!
Anna’s Wonderpup
My Wonderpup this week is Max. Max is a lovely, young boy who enjoys his life to the fullest. He loves to be surrounded by his friends. He’s always happy and ready for an adventure. Max’s recall improved so much that last week I could let him go and run freely, without worry and he didn’t let me down. Great job Max, I’m super proud of you.
Jess’s Wonderpup
My Wonderpup this week is Loki, I haven’t walked him since before lockdown and I am so impressed with how well behaved he is now! He was perfect with his recall, he was very chilled with the other dogs, he travelled in the van really quietly, and was just overall the best behaved I have ever seen him. I was so proud, I kept repeating myself telling everyone how good he was! Well done baby boy, keep it up.
