Tracey’s Wonderpup
I have picked Ollie this wee. Ollie has been such a brave boy, having lost his sister two weeks ago. His sister was his protector, and always looking out for him. He’s been out with different groups, including big dogs, which he used to be very nervous of, but not anymore. Ollie was a little subdued last week, which is totally understandable, but this week he has been loving his walks. Ollie you have been an absolute little superstar and I’m so proud of how you have coped
Andy’s Wonderpup
My Wonderpup this week is Eva. Eva has come on leaps and bounds over the past few months and everyone who’s read the recent newsletter will be able to read a little bit about her progress. From being walked alone and being kept well away from other dogs, she’s now being slowly reintroduced to group walks. This week was her first walk as part of a four and she did brilliantly. Eva was running, interacting and playing with the others. It was a joy to see and only hope to see more and more of it going forward. Special shoutout to Will, Arlo and Barry for all their help too
Chloe’s Wonderpup
Barry has always struggled with his recall and as a result has had to be kept on a long line. Although this hasn’t affected his playtime the challenge was to ween him off this, quite literal, security rope. I am so pleased that with the power of persuasion in the form of fuss, food and consistency his recall has gradually improved week by week. This week he has out done himself and lost the line altogether! I am so proud of this boy for all his efforts and overall behaviour.
Jess’ Wonderpup
My Wonderpup this week is Finn, he changed his day this week which meant he was with a new group of dogs and he slotted in perfectly with them. He made friends with them all and played with each of them one by one! Finn is always waiting at the window for me to arrive and gives me the nicest face washes when I get there! His recall is always great and he never strays too far from my side.
Jude’s Wonderpup
My Wonderpup is Bonnie. Bonnie is a very sweet girl who is shy around new dogs, group walks have been a new experience for her. Week on week, Bonnie has been feeling more relaxed and finding her feet. It has been great to watch her progress. We’ve been matching her up in groups with dogs that have helped her confidence grow and this week we met up with some other groups and she did so well! I am super proud of her. She is now so excited when I pick her up and travels really well. I look forward to seeing Bonnie continue to blossom on her walks
Elli’s Wonderpup
My Wonderpup this week is Bertie2. Bertie was off walks for a week or so and I really missed his little face! When I saw he was back, I was so excited to see him and he was thrilled to see me too. He always puts a smile on my face with his waggy tail and sloppy kisses and never fails to cheer me up. Though Bertie is on a long line, his recall is getting better and better, he always knows to come back and wait patiently for treat. Bertie you’re a pleasure to walk and I’m so pleased I get to hang out with you.
Anna’s Wonderpup
My Wonderpup this week is Ralphie. Ralphie is a sweet boy, always very excited to see his friends. He’s gaining more and more confidence with each walk and last week he surprised me by approaching dogs he hadn’t met before and remaining calm and relaxed in a very big group. His recall also gets better and better and I love to see him progressing so well.
