And just like that, May is basically over! We so love summer and though it’s always nice walking in the blaring sun, we of course make sure the dogs are safe and sound with plenty of water and shade. Here are this week’s Wonderpups…

Jess’s Wonderpup

Mabel is my Wonderpup this week! Recently Mabel has loved nothing more than a mid walk hippo bathe in the nearest muddy puddle or whatever fox poo she could find on the way there . This week I cannot fault her at all, her recall was fabulous every time she went to run to said muddy puddle I would call her and she came running back like the perfect princess she is (deep down!) Thank you for being such a good girl this week Mabel and putting a big smile on my face.

Anna’s Wonderpup

My Wonderpups this week are Bruno and Tyson. These gorgeous boys made me very proud this week. Usually, I walk them in a small group of dogs they know well and feel comfortable around but this week we bumped into Tracey with her gang and both boys were very friendly towards new dogs. They allowed their new friends to say hello and were happy to trot along with them. It was lovely to see them thrive in the new environment/group!

Tracey’s Wonderpup

My Wonderpups this week are Mia and Bella. I have had to choose them as a pair as they are litter sisters and can’t be separated. These floofers are such a cute pair. So well behaved and an absolute pleasure to walk! They never put a paw wrong or cause me any trouble.

Adam’s Wonderpup

My Wonderpup this week is Vera. My vocabulary isn’t good enough to fully describe how massive Vera’s personality is. I’ve never met a dog like her, every walk leaves a story to tell over dinner that night. I’ll be telling the nurses in the care home stories about her when I’m in my 80’s haha! She really made my work week with how amazing she has been this week, thank you Vera.

Sarah’s Wonderpup

My Wonderpup this week is little Pip. She brings so much fun to the group and is always so full of energy and literally doesn’t stop! She always gets all the other dogs chasing around with her and she loves to play. Despite only being a baby she is full of confidence! Her best friends are Foxie and Lacey and she’s always so pleased to see them every week. Her recall is absolutely fantastic and always comes straight back without fail. Keep up the good work Pip.

Becky’s Wonderpup

My wonderful Wonderpup this week is Sonny! You are always the happiest, bounciest boy. Every walk you make wonderful. You play with everyone and don’t stop. This week you were extra specially wonderful. I’m very proud of you. Love you lots xx

Gemma’s Wonderpup

My Wonderpup is Luna this week, she’s gradually learning how to reduce her reactivity with positive training methods using a clicker/high value treats and redirection! Luna has quickly picked up the clicker training & we are working upon building up her confidence around new people. She’s a lovely dog who enjoys her walks with her fellow house mate Milo.

Tanya’s Wonderpup

My Wonderpup this week is Winston. Such a good boy and he was amazing especially after a few weeks off from us. Such a happy boy and it was ace to have him back.
