This week’s been a warm one! While we love being out in the sunshine, we know the dogs can find it difficult, and of course, their health and safety is our TOP priority. To remind you, when the weather is hot, we will:

  • Reduce walk time if it is in the dog’s best interest
  • Start walks earlier in the day to avoid the main heat of the day
  • Swap walks to popins if necessary (especially in the case of flat nose breeds)
  • Plenty of water and shade! We have paddling pools, shaded areas, access to rivers and plenty of drinking water for all the doggos to help keep cool

Also, we’re delighted that our May newsletter has been a hit with everyone today, thank you to everyone who has complimented it! If you would like to be part of our mailing list and get next month’s newsletter straight to your inbox then sign up here.

And now! Onto this week’s wonderful Wonderpups….

Elli’s Wonderpup

This week I’m picking Missy as my Wonderpup! I have never walked this girl myself before, just seen her out and about on walks, but it was an absolute joy to have her this week! Missy is such a loving girl, who is absolutely full of beans! She’s got so much energy yet such a gentle nature. You can rely on her to always come back and welcome everyone with open paws.

Tracey’s Wonderpup

My Wonderpups this week are Bella and Mia. Bella and Mia have been with me all week on doggy day care, so have got to know them really well. They are the sweetest pair. I first started walking these little floofs, to get Bella socialised with groups of dogs to improve her confidence. When I first met the pair, Bella was very nervous of me, and wouldn’t come near me, unlike her sister, who welcomed me with open paws. After a few walks, I’d won Bella round and now the three of us are firm amigos. The girls were introduced slowly into small group walks and now they are walking in groups with large dogs and take it all in their stride. I get the best greeting when I pick them up and they are super excited to go on their walks. Girls, you have been a pleasure to look after this week and Bella your confidence grows and grows. Well done girls.

Jess’s Wonderpup

My Wonderpup this week is Jola! Joley Bear is always so excited when I go to collect her, she is literally bouncing off the walls. She is so energetic and loves running around that sometimes she forgets to listen, but recently she has been such a good girl, her recall has been fabulous and she has been much calmer on her walks. Well done Jola Bola keep up the good work!

Soph’s Wonderpup

Tucker is my Wonderpup this week! I would describe Tucker as an ‘all-rounder’. Excited to see his walker, check! Perfectly behaved on all his walks, check! Cool fluffy hair do, check! Tucks is always a little super star on his walks, he’s always super happy and loves zooming around with his pals. I’ve chosen Tucker this week because despite not having him week in week out, when I do have him, he never lets me down! I just love him and his little wiggly butt!

Anna’s Wonderpup

My Wonderpup this week is Bonnie. Bonnie is a sweet girl that is always on her best behaviour and never puts a paw wrong. She is super excited to go for her walks and play with her friends. Her recall is great and she always runs back to me when I call her. She’s like a little rocket flying around the fields and seeing her photos with her ears up like propellers always put smile on my face. You are a perfect doggo friend Bonnie!

Chloe2’s Wonderpup

My Wonderpup this week is Boris! His beautiful grumpy face makes me laugh so much, but I know he loves his walks deep inside. He is always by my side and melts anyone’s heart that meets him. I love a morning cuddle, he always brightens my morning!
