Take a look at Adam, our walkers recent trip away up north with his dogs!

Now the weather is getting nicer I’m sure a lot of you will be planning on a trip away with your pups.
We love seeing them on their holiday adventures so I have decided to do a write up of my trip away with Lola and Luna to give some inspiration and tips for a dog holiday😁

I love taking my dogs up north to see my family, first step is to pop their collars and harnesses on just incase I have a breakdown and have to safely get them out of the car on the roadside.

I always plan a stop off along the way for a toilet break and a chance for them to stretch their legs. Weatherby services is just passed half way and is very dog friendly. Around the back is a grassy area that leads up to a pond and then a load of fields out the back.

On the first day of a trip away with them I never take them on a large walk, because of the travel they are down on their morning sleep and they will be seeing a lot of people they don’t get a chance to see very often so it takes them a bit to get settled and for the excitement to die down.

On our second day though we went out exploring, It’s such a treat for them to go to new places and have all new sights and smells to go find😁

I cant think of a bigger treat walk for a dog that lives in the Midlands than to go to the beach😁.

It’s always a good idea to check ahead to make sure where you are heading is a dog friendly beach as some aren’t all year round.

Luckily for Lola and Luna after parking in the wrong spot I remembered where the correct beach was😁 (I moved away 13 years ago, my memory isn’t that good🙈😂).

On our final day I took them to my absolute favourite place to walk, a ten minute drive from my parents house is a place that makes you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere (or other people are too sensible than to make their way down a 100 cliff to find a stream to walk their dogs in😂).

This was the perfect way for me to spend my bank holiday and I feel totally recharged.
If you are going away for a break with your pup now the weather has finally started to change we would love to see some photos of them on their adventures while they are away from us. If you’d like to share please send them into your whatsapp group or facebook!

Happy exploring😁
