Jess’ Most Improved Wonderpup

Jade is my most improved wonderpup of the year this year! This year Jade really has grown in confidence and came out of her sister Jola’s shadow, she will play with other dogs off her own back and is just much more relaxed whereas before she would only want to play if Jola was playing and she would get nervous if other dogs joined in she is so much braver this year! Her recall has been amazing as well and will come on her own when called rather than when Jola comes! I am very proud of her and definitely feel she deserves this title! Well done my Jadey Baby 💗
Kate’s Most Improved Wonderpup

My most improved Wonderpup of the year goes to Winnie! I have walked Winnie since the beginning of 2023, and while she has always enjoyed her walkies and a play with friends of her own size, she would sometimes get overwhelmed by any bigger dogs in our group and become a bit nervous and shy. This year, we seem to have totally overcome that and she now absolutely holds her own whichever dogs come out to play with us! Her confidence has just soared and soared, and she really is the light of each of our walkies 🥰. I am so proud of Winnie, she has been a firm favourite of mine since I started with RDW and it has been such a pleasure to watch her love her walkies even more and more as time has gone on 🩷. I don’t think there is anymore room for improvement with my little princess Winnie, so let’s just continue this into 2026 🥰 well done sweet girl 🩷
Tuesday’s Most Improved Wonderpup

Wonderpup of the year is the gorgeous Rocco!
When I first went out to this beautiful boy and his sister he was a nervous wreck, did not want to come near me😫
After a while I started seeing a huge improvement in his willingness to come out!
Fast forward to now and he’s a different dog, he absolutely loves getting a cuddle off me and when it rains he loves a coat snuggle😍
I can now take him to a field and he will walk next to me not run away from me🫶🏼
Rocco I absolutely adore you and I’m beyond proud of you and your progress, here to many more snuggles and walkies🩵
Rosie’s Most Improved Wonderpup

My most improved wonderpup of to the year has to be my sweetheart Storm. So many of my dogs have made great progress this year but Stormy has really stood out! When she first started she was a nervous girl and needed a lot of reassurance on her walks. She much preferred to stick close by me and have cuddles, of course I didn’t object🤣🥰After a few weeks she made huge progress, starting to socialise, jumping straight in the van and just all around growing in confidence. Fast forward to now and she is a brand new dog. She is raring to go every week, and even knows it’s a RDW day before I arrive🥹She is always making new friends and loves her besties she gets to play with every week! Seeing her smiley face and happy, waggy bum is one of the best parts of my week as I’m so proud of how far she’s come💖You truly deserve this wonderpup of the year Stormy, thanks for being such a golden girl!!
Katharine’s Most Improved Wonderpup

My most improved Wonderpup this year is my darling, Dulcie!
At the beginning of the year Dulcie did not always have her listening ears on. She would come generally but if there was a smell or a rustle in a bush I may as well have been talking to myself 🙈 However, little by little she has got better and better to the point that she is now one of the most reliable! Even after she went on a trip with her family for just over two months, she came back to me at the beginning of December as if she had never been away. My best girl!! Well done, Dulcie! Those long lines are a distant memory 🤩💅
Miang’s Most Improved Wonderpup

I wanted to celebrate my most improved dog this year, and that title goes to the wonderful Coco! 🎉
When we first started walking, Coco was quite nervous. She has completely overcome her initial nervousness and now runs and plays with incredible energy. She is wonderfully quick and agile, making every zoomie look effortless. 🐕💨 I am so proud of how far she has come, and I love seeing her enjoy her walks so much. Keep shining, sweet girl. ❤️
Tracey’s Most Improved Wonderpup

This year I have chosen her Lemonship 🍋as most improved wonderpup
This young lady never ceases to put a smile on my face. Greeting me at the door, on two legs, showing me her bestest salsa wiggle 💃
I took over Lemons walks at the being of the year. She was on a held longline to begin with, due to being a youngster and having only been walked in the secure field
Lemons recall and excitement of being with her friends improved tenfold and before long her very proud pawrents were viewing photos of their free running girlie
Lemon would get a little anxious about strange dogs we might encounter but she never ran away, she would run to me for reassurance
Lemon is an absolute pleasure to walk everything about her has improved and having celebrated her second birthday this month, I can’t wait to see her mature more during 2026
Love you to bits Lemon 🍋 and thanking for putting a smile on my face every Thursday 😀
Connie’s Most improved Wonderpup

Saber is my most improved pup and I am so glad that i have been given the chance to give some recognition to the progress that this pup has made in 2025. Throughout the year we have had a little trouble finding a group that Saber would fit perfectly into and after a few mix ups I am so proud of this pup who has fit so nicely into a group of brand new furry friends. I am so thankful to have had saber with me since his first walk and seeing how much he has changed and how much his confidence has grown has been one of my favourite things of the year! His recall is fantastic and he is always so good at getting into the van. Even his confidence with other walks has been such an amazing thing to witness in 2025!! Well done Saber! I am beyond proud!
Becky’s Most Improved Wonderpup

My most improved wondepup of the year is the beautiful Maggie.
I have walked Mags for a couple of years now. She used to be a bit nervy and preferred to stay close to my side and would be a bit noisy when meeting new dogs or when she was a bit overwhelmed. There are no nerves on her walks now, she initiates play with the other dogs and loves to zoom around the fields. Her recall has also been great. Well done little Mags Xxxx
Adam’s Most Improved Wonderpup

My most improved wonderpup this year is Jinksy.
Now before there is a riot amongst the team that I could never say the queen is anything but perfect I want to give her a big shout as she has been on a diet and dropped one and a half notches on her collar in the past month or so.
Her energy levels are up and she is more involved with her friends which is simply amazing to see on the walks.
We’ll done Jinksy, hope you have an amazing Christmas and I will see you in the new year😁
Shannon’s Most Improved Wonderpup

My most improved Wonderpup is our little Willow! When I first met Willow she was a nervous girl, frightened of most things especially the car and other dogs. The last few months Willow has completely transformed into a confident girl, who never leaves my side. We no longer have any sicky journeys to our walks, she is so happy to meet all dogs, and loves being out with us. Its so lovely to see how much her confidence has grown, and that sweet personality come out in her. Well done Willow! 🤍
Ash’s Most Improved Wonderpup

There isn’t a Thursday morning I don’t rave about the progress our Queenie has made, from a quiet and nervous lady that didn’t want to walk at all – to a crazy live wire zooming at record speeds like the whippet she is! So naturally my most improved dog of the year has to go to her! Seeing her now running rings around her fellow pooches and darting from one corner of the field to the other really makes me smile and feel so proud that her walks with Redditch dog walking have brought her so much joy and confidence. She’s a little super star and well deserving of my most improved wonderpup. Well done Queenie – the queen that you are!
Sally-Anne’s Most Improved Wonderpup

My most improved pup of the year has got to go to Dolly!
She is one of our newest members to our group walks and has fitted in like a glove. Most of my fur babies have been walking in the same group for over 4 years now and I’m so proud of how welcoming they are of new friends joining us 🥰
Dolly joined slightly wary and would stay close to me where she felt safe for the first few walks but after no time at all she could see all the fun the others were having and wanted to get right stuck in. There is no stopping this gorgeous girl now she bounds in the car ready for play time and is always so excited to see her furever friends. We love your constant happy energy you bring to the group and you know seeing Dolly will brighten up your day! A well deserved award for our gorgeous girl ✨🐾
Meg’s Most Improved Wonderpup

My most improved pup this year has to be Ted 😍 I am so impressed and overjoyed with how much this gorgeous boy’s confidence has grown. With a bit of reassurance and consistency he has gone from an anxious pup to a playful bouncing pup joining in with the group. He will actively seek out other dogs and gently introduce himself even with new dogs 🐶 he regularly checks in with me for a cuddle and kiss 😘 and then off he goes to play with the group. Well done Ted I’m so proud of you 🤩❤️
Becky’s Most Improved Wonderpup

This little munchkin also known as Dexter is my most improved pup of the year! Dexter used to be so reactive to anyone, any touch which made cleaning him very difficult this time of year, this past year Dexter lets me clean him, pick him and has so much fuss in pick and drop off. Just to have a cwtch has made my year. Well done Dexter proud of you 🥰🥰
Tanya’s Most Improved Wonderpup

Whisky: Our Most Improved Wonder Pup of the Year!
When Whisky first joined Redditch Dog Walking, we faced a few challenges finding the right groups for him due to his initial behaviour with other dogs. But over time, Whisky has shown incredible growth! His recall has become spot-on, he’s learned to respect boundaries with his furry friends, and he now responds promptly to commands. Whisky’s journey has truly made him one of our favourite pups, and we’re so proud of his progress.
Mitch’s Most Improved Wonderpup

Most improved Wonderpup is this handsome boy Ember 😍
From our first walk back in March to now I’ve seen such a huge difference mostly with the reactivity in the car and the small things we’ve done to settle his reactivity!
Super proud of you always 💙
Eathan’s Most Improved Wonderpup

Oreo is my most improved wonderpup this year.
Oreo is deaf, and when I first started walking this boy, he didn’t really play with the other pups, he would just run around in a circle completely unaware of the other pups who wanted to play with him.
Over the past couple of months, We have been working on how to teach Oreo recall, this consists of waving our arms like we are some crazy people!
Oreo has started responding really well to this, almost immediately coming over. We still have moments where Oreo takes a few minutes to realise we are waving, but he is a lot more responsive now than he was! Which is a massive improvement. Not only this, but Oreo has started getting involved, playing with the other dogs. This fills us with such joy! Oreo, you may be one of the craziest collies i’ve ever met, but you are by far one of the most amazing!
& a side appreciation to Oreo’s owner, Elliot, who has never given up with Oreo’s training.
Well done Oreo, and i cannot wait to see what next year brings!!🩵
Chloe’s Most Improved Wonderpup

Lillie is my most improved wonderpup of the year. I feel like this little girlie is constantly refining her social skills and building confidence along the way. Previously, Lillie would hold back and keep herself to herself or be a little spicy when dogs got to in her face, but now she has so many really great friends who she absolutely adores and it is heartwarming to see how far she’s come. I love seeing her actively seek out her besties for fun and frolics. Seeing dogs so happy in their environment and own skin is the best. Im so proud of you Little Lils!
Fran’s Most Improved Wonderpup

My most improved Wonderpup of the year goes to…
Harry!!
Harry started this year as a pup and has ended the year as a big teenage superstar! ✨
This boy lights up my day (along with his family of Labradors too!)
His recall is phenomenal, he is super friendly and gives me the best welcome when I arrive on a Tuesday & Friday. I know he’s doing so well on his Monday group walks too 😍
From the tiny pup I held in my hands last year, to the big boy you are today, I’m so so proud of you Hazza! 🐾 I’m so blessed to see you each week and can’t wait to go on lots of adventures together in 2026! 💙
Lauren’s Most Improved Wonderpup

My most improved pup of 2025 has to be my little migs.
Miggy has blossomed into such a good little boy. He is my cheeky chap and I throughly look forward to any walks with him and his goofy, crazy ways. He used to have extremely selective hearing 😆 but recently he has been such a good boy, perfectly behaved and loving being out with his friends. Not to mention he produces the very best photos which I love taking of him! Well done migsters you deserve this buddy xx
Katie’s Most Improved Wonderpup

My most improved Wonderpup of 2025 is Bluey – he has come on in leaps and bounds since I first started walking him. We still have a lot to work on but he’s such a clever boy and has made so much progress in such a short amount of time I can’t wait to see how far he has come by this time next year.
Well done Bluey, keep being your glorious cheeky self and I can’t wait for more adventures with you and to see you continue to improve in 2026 🥰🐾🫶🏼
Toni’s Most Improved Wonderpup

Never in a million years did I think I would be able to walk this little guy on a public field with other dogs in sight!
Buddy is reactive to other dogs, even if they are far away, which can make walks challenging at times.
This year we have been using toys, tennis balls and enrichment games on the field to help Buddy get used to being in the same spaces as other dogs and I have to say…. he’s done amazing 👏
He is now able (9 times out of 10…. we can’t all be perfect 😂) to play games with me and keep his focus on me whilst other dogs are walking around the same field. Im so proud of him for this!!
Well done little man ❤️ love you lots! Xx
Soph’s Most Improved Wonderpup

Zepp! You are my most improved WonderPUPPY!
You’re still only a baby but over the 7 months on our walks you’ve grown sooo much and I couldn’t be more proud! Are you Bonkers?…Yes, are you fun, cuddly, playful and totally fabulous, also yes! Most improved, why? Because your recall has been insanely good in more recent months, in fact you’re almost showing off with it and for me that deserves a big gold medal 🥇 Well done Zeppy my gorgeous boy! Aunty Soph loves you lotsies! 💙
Grace’s Most Improved Wonderpup

River is my most improved for 2025
When I first met River he struggled with his lead manners and meeting other people/dogs. He would completely freeze on his walks and barely got 1/2 a mile done.
Although he still has some work to do with his owners, River has come on leaps and bounds. He is able to walk better on the lead and can now walk past people without any reaction. When given a bit of distance he can walk past dogs and has mastered his look command. He sits at every curb and gives me the best smile knowing he’s going to get a little treat. Well done River and keep going in 2026
Kim’s Most Improved Wonderpups

This year my most improved Wonderpups go too this gorgeous duo Daphne&Phoebe! 💕 When I first started to walk the girlies they was a bit hesitant to come out and play, totally understandable with a new face taking them out to play! They used to want their Daddy to come to the van with them and put them in like the princess’s they are 👑
Fast forward a few months ago and they are so ready to come out and play and have so much fun 😍 Daphne&Phoebe make sure they tell their Daddy when I’m on my way and at the door waiting to collect them by singing their hearts out 🙈
They love their walkies so much, getting the muddiest they can 🫣 having a good wrestle with one another and always come back for cuddles, especially when I’ve got treats on me 🙊 Super proud of you girls. Love you Daphne&Phoebe 💕
Tat’s Most Improved Wonderpup

For my most improved pup of the year I have chosen Miss Dotty💗 Dots has always been a good girl and has never caused me any issues but has improved immensely confidence wise this year. Dotty used to be a little unsure coming for her walks and took a while to come out of her shell around the other dogs but these days she is zooming around for our full walk! Dotty has leant to play chase with the other dogs and make the most out of her RDW time. I can take her anywhere and she will stick with the pack, playing🥰 I have seen improvements in Dottys confidence outside of just our walk too. She will come for her walk happily and once we are around the corner where she can see the can she will run! She jumps straight into any spot in the van now and is just generally more at ease and happy🤩 Well done Dotty girl I can’t wait for many more fun walks in the new year together💗
Ellis’ Most Improved Wonderpup

My most improved Wonder pup this year is 100% Lola! Lola has come on leaps and bounds this past year and has shown incredible progress with both confidence and behaviour! When we first started our walks together, Lola was very nervous of me and new people, so much so that I would have to catch her at the end of every walk. But seeing her now trust me more and genuinely enjoy her walks has been very rewarding. She now had no lead and comes sprinting over as soon as she is called. I’ve absolutely loved watching her personality shine through as she’s become happier and more relaxed! ☺️ Well done Lola!! 💞🥰
