The past week has been manic, in a good way, of course! We’re delighted that we have nearly 200 dogs back regularly and the family is ever growing (in both humans and fur babies!) If you want to find out more about the RDW team, head to our team page.

We’ve loved having some warm weather back this week, even though it’s kind of rubbed it in that winter really is on its way… But as you all know, nothing stops us enjoying hanging out with dogs every day, mud and all!

Onto this week’s Wonderpups…

Tracey’s Wonderpup

My Wonderpup this week is Betsie. Betsie hasn’t been very well over the last few weeks, so her bombing around on her walks has had to be curtailed a little. But, true to form, Bets takes it all in her stride and seems to understand it’s for her own good. She is so good with all the dogs and a pleasure to walk! You are a total sweetheart Bets.

Jess’ Wonderpup

My Wonderpup this week is Maisie. Maisie has come such a long way since the first day I met her when she was too scared to come out from underneath the stairs, she was terrified of all new people and all dogs and would bark frantically at anyone and anything when out and about. These days people wouldn’t believe she is the same dog. On Monday she came out with a new group of dogs, large breeds and dogs she doesn’t know and she was good as gold. She didn’t bark once and happily played with a couple of them, racing round! She makes me proud every week but this week especially.

Elli’s Wonderpup

I have picked Luna as my Wonderpup this week. Luna is a lovely girl who is super friendly and just loves to play! She has enjoyed being out every day this week, making new friends and playing around in the sunshine. Luna has been extra good this week, sticking by my side and giving me lots of slobby kisses when I pick her up. Thanks for being such a pleasure to walk Luna!

Anna’s Wonderpup

My Wonderpup this week is Tommy. It’s been only few weeks since Tommy joined the RDW family and he doesn’t stop surprising me on each of our walks together. He’s a very happy and brave boy who easily makes friends with other big and small dogs. He enjoys his walks to the fullest and always puts a smile on my face.

Chloe’s Wonderpup

Crystal is my Wonderpup this week as she has continued to show her growing calm nature. She is doing so well now and can happily travel with other dogs too! Crystal is really listening out for recall commands and coming when asked 99% of the time. I am so proud of the way she’s completely changed her attitude and is very happy to be out with her friends running around.

Sophie’s Wonderpup

This week my Wonderpup has to be our girl Meg!. She’s an absolute joy to walk with and a great choice to show one of our new puppies the RDW ropes. Meg was very patient and calm but also made sure the new guy had fun racing around the fields! I’m very proud of how trusting Meg has become over the last few walks and is really letting her fur down, living her best life making lots of new friends! Well done Meggy!
