It’s been a while since we’ve done a Wonderpups purely because we have been SO BUSY! Over the last month, we’ve had so many new dogs become part of the family and plenty coming back from since before lockdown. We’ve been very spoilt this week with all the dogs being on their best behaviour and it’s been great to see everyone playing.
We’ve also got a new team member on board – Sophie! Sophie has really settled in to the dog walker life, and is already bonding with her furbabies!

Elli’s Wonderpup
My Wonderpup this week is Ronnie. Ronnie has joined the family recently and is still only a young pup but boy has he made himself known! Lovely Ronnie gets on with everyone and plays so nicely with all the dogs, young, old, big and small. He’s so great off the lead and always raring to go when I pick him up. Nothing beats seeing Ronnie’s little smile and watching him splash around in the river. Keep being you, Ronnie.
Tracey’s Wonderpup
My wonderpup this week is Samson. Samson came to us just after lockdown for socialisation walks. He tended to bark at other dogs whilst on the lead. Samson has been coming on walks with myself and the little gang for 12 weeks now and there has been a massive improvement in his behaviour. He had very little recall to start and was constantly barking. Samson’s recall has improved dramatically and now he only tends to bark when he is excited and playing chase. When Samson first started with RDW I would have to coax him into the car, now however he is super excited when I collect him and can’t wait to get into the car so he can go off to play with his friends. Samson it’s so lovely to see the improvement you have made in such a short space of time. Keep it up little fella!
Jess’s Wonderpup
Thor is my Wonderpup this week! His recall has been amazing on both his walks, he stayed close and came straight back every time I called him. He is always so excited to come out on his walks and travels perfectly. Well done Thor, we are all very proud of you!
Chloe’s Wonderpup
Zeus has recently re joined us after having a break and has been on his best behaviour. He has been as excited to be back with us and his friends as we’ve been to have him back. It’s lovely to see Zeus launching straight back into his walks, playing so nicely with all the other dogs and his recall/ manners have been second to none. It’s great to have you back Zeus the gentlest of giants!
Sophie’s Wonderpup
My wonderpup of the week has to be a very ‘small but mighty’ chihuahua named Milo. This week was Milo’s first walk with Redditch Dog walking but you would never have guessed! Milo was super confident and made lots of new friends whom most were twice his size if not bigger. Despite being on a long line, Milo didn’t venture too far from the pack, he loved exploring and chasing his older sister! It’s an absolute pleasure to have Milo on board!
