This week, we’ve had to battle storms and torrential rain, although we can’t complain after working through the wettest and muddiest winter ever!
We also welcomed back some lovely fur babies we hadn’t seen since before lockdown, and even have some new faces to the RDW gang, including Maggie, Bruno, Max, Minnie and Samson. We’re glad you’re back, or joining the family.

Tracey’s Wonderpup
My Wonderpup this week is Betty. Following a bit of a theme here with my last two Wonderpups being golden oldies, Betty is another member of that club. This lady is nearly 14 years young. She is such an amazing girl, she loves live and only occasionally shows her age. Betty is happy to see me when I collect her and her brothers, and leaps into the car to go for her walk. She is so well behaved, that when people mention how well trained she is, I want to take the credit, but begrudgingly have to admit that I’m just her walker so can’t take it! Betty spends most of the walk glued to my side, but every now and then will have a little romp around. Betty, you certainly put a smile on my face first thing on a Monday morning.
Anna’s Wonderpup
My Wonderpups this week are Bruno and Tyson. About 3 weeks ago I started to introduce the brothers to new friends. At first, it was us and only one more dog but last week the boys had their first big group walk and they did an amazing job! They were very relaxed and happily trotted amongst others. Every time I go to pick Bruno and Tyson for their walk, they welcome me with wagging tails and are always ready an adventure. But, I can always count on getting a few hugs from them.
Elli’s Wonderpup
This week, I’ve picked Lola. Lola only came out on a couple of walks with me before lockdown, and she was a little nervous starting back up. I had to keep her on a longline because she had a tendency to run to the edge of the field and wait until hometime! Recently though, Lola has really come out of her shell. She’s been excited to come out, enjoyed playing with her friends and this week, I took the lead completely off so she could run around having lots of fun. Well done Lola, I look forward to seeing you every week!
Jess’s Wonderpup
Sasha is my Wonderpup this week! Her all time BFF Penny is currently poorly, so Sasha has been making lots of new friends! Penny being off has forced Sasha to make new friendships and play in a group more and we couldn’t be prouder of how well she is doing with her new paw pals! Way to go Sasha.
Chloe’s Wonderpup
Molly is my Wonderpup. She has been so well behaved and relaxed with the other dogs, even some of the younger puppies who have been hanging off her playing and pushing her patience (as they do). She’s a pleasure to take out, never strays too far and her recall has come on leaps and bounds. She’s a true leading lady and its so lovely to have her by your side
